These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Resumely at resumely.co (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Resumely is a free resume builder. You can create, edit, preview, and download resumes without entering a credit card.
1) The Service
Resumely provides tools to create, edit, preview, upload, and export resumes and related documents. Features may change over time as we improve the product.
2) Free access and no credit card required
The Service is currently offered as a free resume builder. You do not need to provide payment card information to create, edit, preview, or download your resume.
We do not charge you for using the resume builder. If this changes in the future, we will clearly explain any paid features before they apply.
3) Eligibility and accounts
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access credentials secure.
- You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for abuse, fraud, spam, or security attacks.
4) License and acceptable use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service as intended. You agree not to misuse the Service.
You must not:
- Break the law, infringe intellectual property rights, or violate privacy rights.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, damage, or overload the Service.
- Use automated scraping, bots, or similar methods to extract data without permission.
- Upload malware or attempt unauthorized access to systems, files, or accounts.
- Use the Service to create or distribute unlawful, harmful, misleading, or deceptive content.
- Interfere with the security, availability, or proper operation of the Service.
5) Your content
You retain ownership of the content you submit, including resume text, uploaded resume files, personal details, work history, education, skills, and other information you add to your resume.
You grant us a limited license to host, process, display, edit, convert, and export your content only as needed to provide the Service and generate the files you request.
You are responsible for your content and for ensuring you have the rights to use and share it. Do not upload content that violates laws or third-party rights.
6) Resume accuracy and job outcomes
The Service helps you format and organize resume information, but you are responsible for reviewing your resume before sending it to employers or platforms.
We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, hiring decisions, ATS results, employer responses, or any specific career outcome.
7) Intellectual property
The Service, including software, interface, templates, layouts, design elements, branding, and related materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may use exported resumes for your personal job search and career purposes. Except as allowed by these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or exploit any part of the Service itself.
8) Third-party services and links
The Service may use or link to third-party services, such as hosting, authentication, analytics, email, storage, or support providers. We are not responsible for third-party content, services, websites, or policies.
9) Availability and changes
We may update, improve, remove, suspend, or change parts of the Service at any time. We try to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
10) Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, secure, or that exported resumes will meet every requirement of employers, recruiters, job boards, or applicant tracking systems.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resumely will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, employment opportunities, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of the Service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the maximum extent allowed by applicable law.
12) Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe there is a violation of these Terms, unlawful activity, security risk, abuse, fraud, or misuse of the Service.
13) Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect information.
14) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
