These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Resumely at resumely.co (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1) The Service
Resumely provides tools to create, edit, and export resumes and related documents. Features may change over time as we improve the product.
2) Eligibility and accounts
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access credentials secure.
- You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for abuse or fraud.
3) Subscriptions, trials, and billing
- Paid plans: Some features require a paid subscription or one-time purchase.
- Trials: If a trial is offered, it may convert to a paid plan at the end of the trial unless canceled before renewal.
- Auto-renewal: Recurring subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
- Payment processing: Payments are handled by third-party processors. Your purchase may be subject to their policies in addition to these Terms.
- Taxes: Prices may not include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Refunds, if available, are handled according to our refund policy or as required by applicable law, and may depend on the plan type and usage.
4) License and acceptable use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service as intended. You agree not to misuse the Service.
You must not:
- Break the law, infringe intellectual property rights, or violate privacy rights.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service.
- Use automated scraping, bots, or similar methods to extract data without permission.
- Upload malware or attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts.
- Use the Service to generate or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, or deceptive.
5) Your content
You retain ownership of the content you submit (for example, resume text and personal details). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display your content only as needed to provide the Service (including generating exports you request).
You are responsible for your content and for ensuring you have rights to use and share it. Do not upload content that violates laws or third-party rights.
6) Intellectual property
The Service, including templates, design, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except as permitted under these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service.
7) Third-party services and links
The Service may integrate third-party services (for example, payment providers) or link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for third-party content, services, or policies.
8) Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that exports will meet every requirement of employers or platforms. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
9) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resumely will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of the Service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the amount you paid to use the Service during the period required by applicable law.
10) Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe there is a violation of these Terms, unlawful activity, security risk, or abuse.
11) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
